CLA Midlands
The Country Land and Business Association (CLA) is the membership organisation for owners of land, property and businesses in rural England and Wales. The CLA works to support and represent its members, helping rural enterprises to thrive through expert advice, policy influence, and practical guidance. Their members include farmers, landowners and a wide range of rural businesses, all contributing to the success and sustainability of the countryside.
This experience is hosted by the CLA Midlands team, which supports members across Cheshire, Derbyshire, Herefordshire, Leicestershire and Rutland, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire. During the experience days, you will gain an insight into the work of the CLA and the role it plays in supporting the rural economy.
The Work Experience will consist of
A weeks work experience with the CLA Midlands Team in their Knightley office (Shropshire/Staffordshire border).
Learning about the industry and meeting those within it
Opportunity to join events, shadow team members & visits and possible county committee meetings/discussions
