Women Who Work in Fieldsports Rebrands to Champion Women Across the Rural Sector
Women Who Work in Fieldsports has rebranded to Women Who Work in Rural (WWWR), originally founded to represent women in fieldsports, today announces a significant rebrand to reflect a broader and more inclusive mission: supporting and amplifying women working across all areas of the rural sector.
The decision comes in response to a clear and growing need for better representation of women in rural industries. While women play a vital role in agriculture, conservation, equine industries, land management, and rural trades, their contributions are often underrepresented and overlooked.
The rebrand marks a shift from a niche focus on fieldsports to a wider platform that recognises the diversity, skill, and impact of women building careers and businesses across rural environments.
“Our community has evolved, and so has our understanding of the space we’re part of,” said co-founder Louisa Clutterbuck. “Women are contributing to every corner of the rural economy, yet many still don’t feel seen or heard. This rebrand is about changing that, creating a platform that reflects the reality of rural work today, and giving women the representation and voice they deserve.”
As part of the rebrand, WWWR will expand its content and community focus to include a broader range of rural professions and experiences. The platform will continue to showcase real stories, practical insights, and career pathways, while placing a stronger emphasis on visibility, connection, and support.
The organisation aims to become a leading voice for women in rural industries, highlighting their work, amplifying their voices, and helping to build a more inclusive and representative rural sector.
“This isn’t about leaving our roots behind,” Clutterbuck added “It’s about building on them. Fieldsports remain part of the rural landscape, but they are just one part of a much bigger picture. We want every woman working in rural spaces to feel that this platform includes her.”
The rebrand will roll out across all digital platforms in the coming weeks, alongside new content initiatives designed to reflect the full spectrum of rural work.
